Try turning it over

Not a stamp; postal stationery or cut squares.

If you have a Scott Catalogue, try the Back of Book with a "U" prefix.

Of course, you could search here on SCF for "cut square" and find a couple pages of threads like these:

The stamp is on legal size envelope on the front left side

I have looked in the scott's catalog and have not found it yet

I opened the envelope and the stamp is on the inside
Just bad folding?

would you classify this as stamped on both sides.
