Wow. All of these rare stamps in one place and with pictures of all of the fronts and backs too. Is there any possibility of Canada Scott # 23 existing on laid paper as well since Scott # 22, # 24 and # 25 exist as Scott # 31, # 32 and # 33? The reason why I ask this is because there are several Large Queen specialist experts on here and new discoveries usually come from looking for possibilities outside of what is already known in the catalogues. This is where I would be looking for the next new major discovery of these large Queen laid paper varieties.

My 33. Has old marking on back showing 31??? misidentified long ago.

Maybe they should be sent to the publisher of the Unitrade Catalog.
Its time they showed what Canada's rarest stamps look like.

If we didn't know better, because of the cancel, the shot of #32 might be misidentified as:

Here are three Large Queens on laid paper:

One cent is a space filler which is badly damaged but came in handy identifying the two cent laid paper as the papers were identical. The three cent is a nice sound certified copy with the laid lines in the paper closer together than on the one and two cent copies. Selling the two cent broke up this set but it was a real treat finding and having it for a short time.

Can you tell us, after you had found the #32, the story of what was the next step : what did you do after, who did you contact, how the "contact" proceeded with the stamp, how much was it sold, how much did the "contact" kept, how much did you get in return??!

Yes, it is personal! But we are all interested in the stamps world, we are all delighted when something "unexpected" happen, new finding, expertise exchange... and a case like yours totally unusal.
Even if I don't have the right vocabulary, I believe you understand what I mean and, of course, only if you want to share this unique experience
