I did find another #31 which was not identified properly. It is also damaged as it is thinned and creased still another example. |

Of the Laid paper LQ's the easiest to find is the 3-cents. That makes the 1-cent value a bit harder to find. I don't know if another 2-cents will ever be found as it is believed only two sheets may have been printed. |

The Bingham sale of Feb. 2014 had 5 copies of 31 for sale. I managed to win 1 of them (lot 662, and 1 of 33. Unfortunately, I could not get the 32, which would have required trading my house....No information as to the new owner of #32 (lot 663) |

I don't believe anyone knows exactly how many there are of any of the values. The only firm count I know is for three certified #32's. Of course even that could change if others are reported. I have two #31's (not certified) and a certified #33. The #32 and one of the #31's were incorrectly identified by the previous owners. How many more of any of the laid paper stamps may be out there misidentified is anybody's guess. I don't believe the correctly identified copies have ever been counted of #31 or #33. |

Is the information about the quantities of # 31 and # 33 in the Unitrade catalogue correct? |

Hi Jogil, The quantities listed are for recorded examples. Only three copies used recorded for #32. The other recorded number is fewer than 10 unused copies of #31 and #33. These are recorded copies. Who knows how many unrecorded copies could exist. Also no number is given for used quantities of #31 and #33. There are no recorded unused copies of #32 (that would be a real find). I believe the quantities in Unitrade are correct for the #32 used and the unused #31 and #33. |

Hi watermark. Is there a possibility that Canada Scott 21 could be found with laid paper? I assume that 1868 is used as the date of the laid paper coming out. Does the possibility apply to other such Large Queen stamps? |
