To the best of my knowledge the #21, 1/2c LQ, has never been reported as printed on laid paper. I would like to find one but I don't think one exists.

The fact the two cent value I found, with a 1870 postmark, was thought to be dubious because it had a later usage than expected. It is well known that as the post offices replenished stamp supplies new stock was placed on old stock. The #32 I found is thought to be an example of this as most agree the printing of the laid paper stamps occurred in 1868. The only laid paper LQ's have colors of the earlier printing.

In the upcoming Siegel Calgary sale there is an unused #31 and an unused #33, in addition to one each used. No #32's though.

It looks like both unused stamps are ex-Brigham.
