I'm loving these posts, what a superb collection you have. Could I trouble you to post a random page from any of the Edifil Civil War volumes? I'm interested in getting them

Jubilee
There are 4 volumes to this edition that I know of and somewhat expensive but easily found.
Extremely well illustrated - just a few stamps on each page with a locale, dates etc.
Pricing is by a letter code to RRR (very rare) which I think is more appropriate than some arbitrary value.

Got this catalog from K. Bileski back in 70's. He produced these catalogs that included useful (and entertaining) information about each series of Canadian issues. A lot of good info about large/small Queens. Including an exert discussing the Quebec Tercentenary (paper, gum, perforations, etc.). Goes above and beyond what one would get from a Scott Catalog. Does anyone know if these continued? Mine is dated 1970.

canyoneer
Bileski published many of these books between 1965 & 85
His main focus was probably revenues
I would say that he was the premier stamp dealer of Canada

Bileski and his his treasures.

His company is still in operation so you might try there

Thanks for the link SForgCa. Couldn't find any old catalogs available but had a great time browsing their material - impressive! Where did you get the picture of the storage room?
