Ooooh, splendid Jubilee.
comes with the smell of hand polished vellum?
The chairman of our stamp club has an 1860 Gibbons Stamp Monthly
(IIRC No3) he has promised to bring it in for a "show and tell"
We have a few like yours in our club library, but they are so fragile the pages snap at the least touch.
Too far gone for revival.

I've had nearly all of the ones you've shown, but they have been subject to one of my clearouts.

I should have kept them, but room, never enough room.....................

With Australia's parity with the greenback,
it's great shopping these days.

However, Australia is shackled to protectionism
with its publishing business.
Today Angus and Robertson a pinnacle of Aussie
publishing announced it is in the hands of receivership.

Here's why:

I have been chasing the purchase of
"The Encyclopedia of Ephemera" on the Internet.

Current Amazon price $84 US

Angus and Robertson price : $276

From my shelf. Don't laugh at the Hardy Boys Mystery of Cabin Island. It was about a stolen stamp collection.
