Man still going thru that series and my US Washington/Franklins varieties are looking better and better.

Closer inspection on some at first it is just the color variation in the inner ring.
Now you get variations on the outer frame. Put that together with both and you
end up with multiple variations of the same stamp.
No wonder a complete study of these would be a large undertaking.
