Hello For my worldwide collection I've decided to go with the Minkus Supreme Global albums using the older curved-spine binders. My question concerns the configuration of the round bars that are used to retain the pages. I notice that these bars are curved and can be installed with the high point of the curve either facing the spine or facing away from the spine. I've seen them installed both ways and am wondering which was the original intention.
My two 1952 binders have the slight arc to the inside, I have no idea if this is the way they came from Minkus.
I have replaced them with the new style flat spine 4 1/2" binders that uses the slide lock bar thingamajig posts, much better system and makes adding and moving pages much easier.
Now I need to replace all of my Scott post and wire binders.$$$$$$$$
