Hi guys...I know this stamp is from Portugal, but I cant find the overprint..can some one help..?
I know it is bad shape, but just curious where it came from.

It is not from Portugal proper, but a separate Portuguese colony.

Your stamp was part of a series issued 1898-99. Yours is the lowest face value of the set.

All Portuguese colonies used these stamps with overprint. So there are also stamps with Tete, Mocambique, Horta (Acores) etc on them. Very interesting area of collection!
