Hi guys..Was looking at this block of 40 Scott # 604 stamps and I noticed that the further down the block you go the lighter the ink impression is..Wonder why..?

wert,isnt 604 the number for the coil stamp?

The sheet stamp number is 593 and there those could be
either CBNC or BABN

Neat Wert. I have some of these but used but not all together in my accumulations and all. Neat thing to look out for.

Not sure why, maybe the rollers lifted way too soon? Naah.
Hmmm, looks like the plate ran out of ink rolled on, perhaps?
These are engraved I think.


Look at stamp at column 5, row 2 and at her right (from our point of view) earing. Less ink in there also. Of course, could be my eyes.

Wert you should have no problem using those 8 centers up for postage.

Tear off two vertical rows and stick them on the envelope
horizontally, should be enough room if you do it that way.

And don't forget to top it off with one of those sixties 5c commemoratives.

If you don't have any I'll send you some, I have plenty.
