I was going through some Australian stamps from year 2000 and came across two copies of Scott #1841. $1.50 Tourist Attractions stamp. One of the stamps appears to have a faint mauve coloured wash over all but the left hand white on blue band. I tried scanning but the scan does not highlight what I see with the naked eye. The back of the stamp is white so this is not a case of bleed through from a coloured envelope. I'm hoping an Australian 'specialist' might be able to give me a clue about the odd colouring; it is quite obvious when you see a 'normal' stamp beside the odd one.
Hi Aussie Al Well I deleted the scan because it did not show the difference that I could see with my eyes. The stamp in question is $1.50 Sydney Harbour Bridge issued June 20, 2000 Tourist Attractions. Thanks Randy
