A re-branding by the privatised Royal Mail means that good old Surface Mail has to be called something else although doing the same job. Items to North America could take up to six weeks while Australian deliveries are within a twelve week delivery period.
I been trying to send out a secret Santa package since mid Dec to the UK and so far one has been lost and no word on the other...what exactly do they do? lol
ILS: I have to say that, after a dodgy period a few years ago, delivery standards here are pretty high at present (OK, on Saturday, postman did put through my door a letter I'd posted the previous day, as they'd ignored the front of the envelope and gone straight to the "sender" address on the back!). Perhaps Royal Mail doesn't believe in Santa Claus.
