I have stumbled upon the binder free collection of Postage Stamps issued to commemorate the Coronation of H.M. King George VI all dated May 12th, 1937. Does anyone know if this was an actual collection issued with a book or could this just be something the previous owner put together? There is a total of 67 pages all filled. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

There were printed albums, but the leaf you show is home-made. On the other hand, the cover has a level of caligraphy rarely found these days.

I have a set made by Parkshaw. I've seen the books from Selfridge. I think at the time there were many companies large and small wanting to cash in. From the printing on your pages is so neat and crisp I would believe they were made by a company instead of an individual. The pages from Parkshaw and Selfridge were printed by press.

These are handwritten in pencil. The collection that I inherited was from a lady that well....was collecting since she was old enough to know what a stamp was. Therefore she was extremely in depth in everything that she did. Most of the time, up until her passing, she wrote caligraphy still with an old quill pen set. This woman was a diamond in the rough most definately. The first page looks like she may have had it printed (her husband owned a printing company back in the early 70's late 60's) but the rest is on graph paper written in pencil.
