Hey All,
I recently acquired several hundred WWII era covers that I'm sorting and there's oodles of Army Post Office postmarks. I've used Jim Forte's web site to help identify the post office on some of the covers, but his web site has it's limits. So I went searching and came across this:

http://www.7tharmddiv.org/docrep/Lo...942-1947.pdf

Numerical Listing of APO's - January 1942 - November 1947.

Very helpful guide since it gives the dates when an APO started in a particular location.

So far I identified a number of Canal Zone APO's. Joy!
