These came in an auction lot. 10 covers with 1932 postmarks on 10 different stamps fron 1 1/2 cents to 10 cents. All with the first day postmarks on the Washington stamps. They're not what I collect so they will be sold. Should they stay as a set, be separated or doesn't is matter. Any information on these would be appreciated.

The first day of Issue ( Feb 22, 1982 )cancel is for the tall multi colored 20 cent George Washington stamp, Sc # 1952. The Washington Bicentenial series was issued Jan 1, 1932.

Sell them as a lot, but don't engage in selling activities here until after you're read the rules

Don't be surprised if they don't fetch much at auction. Philatelic covers of the 1930's are a hard sell at a dime each. Adding a 1982 stamp will probably not improve saleability. Postal History this is not.

IMHO, adding the 1982 stamps and cancels to the 1932 covers reduces their value. But, value is in the eye of the beholder.

This is just a request for information, not an offer to sell. Kirk
