I have done enough of that already so trying not to do any more!
Separation today is much easier as all countries end on a page, no 2 countries on a page.
Having regular stamps separate from air mail, and the rest of the back of book is not that big a deal to me, by doing countries, you could at least put each section together in order by year per section.
And yes, separating them will be a big task if I go that route.
dutchman: I agree with Geoff and Chris about having stamps from one country, or similar countries, all grouped together. Like Geoff, that is what I'm slowly doing with my British Commonwealth collection. Instead of residing, in part, in a dozen different Intl. Big Blue binders, when I'm done, they'll reside in two binders. Much easier to play around. I did the same last year (2015) with my Portugal & Colonies collection. As with the Brit stuff, they were spread out through about all of my Intl. binders. Now they reside in two.
I'm sending my French area and German speaking area off to auction in about 6 weeks or so. The French was scattered through all binders and needed to be grouped together for sale. My overdue re-organization of all other countries came about due to the planned sale.
Chris & Climber: Thanks for the comments. I am leaning that way myself. I may wait until I move the stamps from the old Scott International albums I have picked up to the new pages as they will be easier prior to separating into countries.
