This is the end result of soaking approximately 15 pounds of German kiloware over the last year. Germany is one of the few countries I collect to the present day, and German kiloware is as cheap and plentiful as any there is. I probably got carried away, but when it's as little as $10 a pound, it's kind of like "oh what the heck, why not get TWO pounds". Lather, rinse, and reapeat a few times and here we are. The bundled stamps alone are right around 13,250 stamps, give or take a dozen. I did not (and will not) count the stamps on the stock sheets (not all of which are pictured) and my guess is that there's at least another 10,000 on those.

I'm offering a sampling of these to the first 20 people who ask. Please email me your mailing address. I'll give you two choices to pick from:

Option 1) The "Mission Mix". This lot will contain 50-60+ stamps and will be about one third definitives, one third commemoratives, and one third semi-postals. Those ratios aren't exact - I have about 25 stock sheets jam packed with stamps, sorted out into definitives, high values, self-adhesives, Euro values, Deutsche Mark values, semipostals, etc. I'll go through and grab 2 or 3 stamps off each page.

Option 2) All definitives. This lot will contain more stamps, probably 80+, but will be all definitives. No complete sets, but you'll get some decent runs of many definitive series.

Here's another kicker: I'll entertain requests for up to 5 specific stamps, which you can request by either Scott or Michel#. I can't guarantee that I'll have it and if I do it might not be one I want to part with (e.g. a key value to complete a series and I only have one). But, if there's something specific you'd like, let me know and I'll be happy to see if I've got it. For commemoratives and semipostals, your best bet will be with stamps from after 1980 or so. There aren't many in that pile from before then, but there are a few.

Will ship worldwide. Be sure to let me know which option you want and if there are any specific stamps you would like. If you don't specify which lot, I'll send the mission mix.

Very Nice. I only recently started collection Germany. I am using Vario pages to start with, But will upgrade at some point to an Official album of sorts. So much history!

Some nice selections are already on their way to both of you. Thanks for responding and helping me reduce the pile a little at a time!

Had to shake my head today, though. I ordered a 5 oz worldwide mix on/off paper (guesstimate of 1 oz off paper 4 oz on paper). Most of the off paper and probably 10-20% of the on paper were Germany, of EXACTLY the kind of stamps I've been sending out for this giveaway. I guess I'm destined to have this pile for quite some time yet. Plus, with the dollar being so strong against the Euro at the moment, against my better judgment I'm eying some fresh Kiloware again. I'll probably wait a few more months on more Germany-specific kiloware, though. The longer I wait, the more stamps I'll get from 2014/2015.
