It would be nice to see them operate as a business, free of the politicak constraints that seem to bind them now. I think US citizens would enjoy a much more approachable Post office.
As for
Canada Post, well, lots of parcels costing way too much, rather than small packet type of items available for Canaddians really does draw at the purse strings a bit.
Delivery is great as far as I am concerned and counter service depends on the practised skills of the staff involved and the friendliness of the customers themselves of course. You get what you give nasically. Friendly gets friendly.
A change in personal stamps could be that each year the stamps are numbered with the year (
2012, 2013, 2014, etc.) in small print. Nothing major to creak the wheels of Canadian politics of course.
Regular designs wuld be appreciated a bit larger, the whole stamp that is.
I do love all the various cancels and postmarks and new labels (collectible with POCONs), Xpress and General labels (POCONs again) and the new ettiquettes.
Leather and whips are Not necessary at postal counters I feel though.
