There have been a few discussions here of the Liannos local post in Turkey. The best site I know of for them is here:

Starting in June, 1873, Turkey started overprinting stamps for local delivery, using the Turkish word for local ("CHEIR"), within a circle.

The above image is often referred to as a Type I overprint.
Starting July 3, 1881, the Type IV overprint was introduced, on three stamps. It consists of the Turkish script, and the English translation, LOCAL, in an eight-sided box, and it is found in both blue and black.

The middle one looks dodgy. Any thoughts, or other examples to share?
