Just received these 2 86b stamps that I won on the bay. Thought I seen the markers on one of the stamps, but to my amazement both were re-entries. And now for your viewing entertainment the pics.

Stamp 1 (used but twin to my 86b iii MNH copy)

Stamp 2 don't know the actual tag, I don't think it's iii but still re-entry

Hi Northener0,
I do not believe that either of these stamps is the major re-entry from position 91 that is listed in Unitrade as #86iii. That stamp needs to have some sharp doubling in the word CANADA and it does not have any of the lines across the "WE HOLD A VASTER..." text at bottom.

Your second stamp looks like the re-entry at position 2A17. The marks in the T of POSTAGE are the giveaway.

Your first stamp is a little harder to plate given the images you have supplied. It is one of four stamps from the 9th column of plate 2 that have the line in the top part of we "WE HOLD A VASTER...". My guess is that you have position 2A9.

Check out the detailed scans at re-entries.com and I am sure you will be able to confirm the plate positions for yourself: http://www.re-entries.com/mapstamp.html

Really nice finds though. Thanks for sharing!
