I was wondering what others thought about the sales price for the RN-D5 that sold on ebay on Wednesday. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kansas-City...047675.l2557
The final price was $6,450, and it appears Eric Jackson was the buyer (or at least agent for the buyer)given the feedback score of the high-bidder. This is a second reported copy and the previously unique example was in the Buford collection and was listed in Eric's net price sale about 10 years ago for $10,000.

Boy, that's a beautiful check. I'm no expert on revenue stamped paper, but that's not one I've seen before. I'd be surprised if the dealer knew what he had, although he's been posting some very nice checks from Kansas and elsewhere that are bringing high values. Nothing like this one, though!
