I think it's also possible they were from a booklet pane. I have several panes from this era that developed perfs like this over time because the pane stuck out from one or more sides of the booklet cover.

That particular combination (7 1/2 and 2 1/2) was never sold in booklet form.

Nice Heftchenblättern, BTW. Shame the 71's not complete, as that's a relatively rare one.

The Michel Specialized catalogue of German stamps is detailed enough for most collectors, but if you want the best of the best, the Michel Markenheftchen catalogue is the way to go.
