Hello all,
please help me with identification. 7 1/2 Poste Italiane Cente Sette E Mezzo.
Humbert I stamp. Appears to be printed on thick paper. Cut at margins. I looked at it with a loop and it looks very much like similar stamps of Humbert I. I can not find any info on internet or Scott guide books. Thank you,

Looks like a cutout from postal stationery. There is a reply card, at least, that has that design, and probably others. Writing on the back would also tend to confirm a card cutout.

I agree with Cjd - this looks like it was cut from postal stationary (post card) and looks legit. Even though Scott catalogues don't cover postal stationary from foreign countries, it's likely a common item with little value - I make that assumption based on the era and country. Someone with more experience with these will likely chime-in, but I don't doubt my guess.

Welcome to SCF!

Brian

Thank you Brian,
It was in a box of early classics I bought. Even though I still can't find an exact image match, It does appear many Cartolina Postales of that era have very similar features. and to confirm your suspicions I also found postal card cut outs from Austria in the same lot. It also included Mixed newspaper stamps, revenue stamps and mostly used pre 1900's commons. But a few gems were mixed in, so I want to double check everything.
Much appreciation,
N

Yes. Looks to be an exact match. Well, besides the fact that mine is all cut up. Case closed. Thanks again for all the help.
