Don't know if these seals are included in the definition of cinderellas but they are interesting in that you could buy 40 for a nickel. Those were the days. I am guessing these date from the 1950s or 1960s.

IMHO - I wouldn't class them as a cinderella, but, maybe as a form of 'postal etiquette'?

I, on the other hand, would definitely class them as Cinderellas !

They are lovely.

I think the term 'cinderella' has become pretty broad. Originally it was termed for something that looked like a postage stamp, but wasn't, but I think this sort of sticker has come to be included. I certainly have a few 'stickers' like this in my cindy collection.

They are nice looking. I count 48 stars; so pre 1959 (Alaska/Hawaii). I used to put flag stickers on mail, until I noticed a high percentage of the overseas ones were not getting to their intended target.
I like to think they were waylaid by admires of the red, white & blue. :)

Flag labels go back to the Civil War period.
There are also some used around the turn of the century during the Spanish American War.

For me, it's just a sticker or a label. Clearly, not a cinderella.
