This has happened to me a number of times now, so now this time it triggers a rant.

Sellers: If you are shipping stamps on stockpages, please, for the love of Gawd, do more than just put the pages loose in an envelope! You need to do something to apply pressure/tension to keep the stamps in place, or else what the buyer receives are stockpages that are mostly empty and piles of stamps at one side or another or at the top or bottom.

Then trying to evaluate and confirm the contents of the lot compared to what was being sold becomes more difficult. What is even more of a travesty is if the lot was somewhat specialized and items were originally sorted or identified on the page.

What I recommend is to put multiple rubber bands around the pages in both horizontal and vertical directions. This keeps the pages pressed tightly together in transit.

*grumble*
