I am finding more and more foreign stamp sellers claiming "Item Location" from various United States cities when in fact the seller resides and mails from a foreign country such ad Poland, Italy, Indonesia, China etc..

Results: Much longer delivery times of items purchased; sometimes over 30 days.

I buy from overseas sellers all of the time and I realize shipping takes longer.

Why can't these sellers be honest about from where they reside and mail from?

Should they be reported to ebay? Would ebay do anything about it?

There's plenty of buyers just as dishonest, fraudulently buying from
sellers whom have no desire to sell internationally by using U.S.A.
addresses in their profiles whom, for the most part are freight
forwarders...

Pay $6 a month for xxxxxxxxx and you can have any address in the world you would like.

Example:Pay television in the US is say $35 month in Aussie $150 month. You can get pay TV from the US that appears on your Aussie TV with xxxxxxxxx because it looks like you are a US citizen living in the US.

I often get buyers that are from block counties buying lots from me on ebay. With a bit of a hassle with ebay I get the buyer off my books as quick as.

edit: to get delete name of scam company.

There is another angle too.
Sellers from certain countries do not qualify for free listings so give an alternative address in one of the major nations in order to get them.
This is a common reason. I should know, I am in one of those locations but do not sell on ebay after being told I do not get any free listings.

If your not getting the item quick enough within 30 days raise a dispute with paypal or ebay over it. Leave neg feedback to seller warning others that seller is not in the location they claim to be. You could report the seller to ebay but they may not do anything where as neg feedback stays there for 12 months and often buyers will look at any negative before buying. Personally I would not buy from a seller in China as you may not receive the item at all. But if you can't tell if they are in China because they lied & stated they are in USA that is fraud. Buyers have the right to know where they are buying from.
