I need help. Does anyone know if Old Third Class preprinted postage (like bulk mailing) have any value? I have been helping a person catalog an inherited stamp collection and we have found everything else, but can't find anything on these

Maybe, if you list what you have, or show a scan I can help. Basically yes, everything has value for somebody.

I have several different kinds.
Most say Sec. 562, P.L. & R, U.S. Postage Paid A few with an amount.
but most just list the city and permit No.
Most are Just a square, but some have the wavy line simulated cancellation.

The Postal Laws & Regulations (PL&R) were printed in collective volumes about every 8-10 years, such as 1902, 1913, 1924, 1932, 1940, 1948. Sections were sometimes renumbered. 3rd class mail is found in Section 562 in the 1932 and 1940 editions, thus your items would date from 1932-1948. Agreed, everything is collected by someone, although the value is likely nominal unless there is a nice illustration or contents.
