Picked this up recently for about the price of a cup of coffee.  Can't quite make out the cancel. I think it says N.Y. COM(???) ADVERTISED.  Oh, by the way, pretty sweet double transfer too.  |

Hi rusty - I picked an R27 double transfer up at the Asheville bourse last month. Just for kicks, I combined our two scans and adjusted some levels to compare them. Yours is more heavily inked, but I think they may be the same DTs.  |

southpaw, sure looks like the same one although some of the lines are a little weaker on yours. Possibly a later stage after some wear. Or less ink. Hard to tell which. I circled some of the areas.  |

OOPS sorry Rusty! Typesetter, yours is definitely a better impression. If you can post a 1500 pixel wide scan of the bottom of your stamp, I can layer them and get a better comparison. |

Hi Typesetter - looks like you just made your existing scan "higher res" which blurs out the details. Can you actually scan at a higher resolution? That's really the only way to do it. |

Possibly the same, but there are a number of DT's at bottom. I have a block of six where five stamps have DT's at bottom. |
