Welcome to the forum! And a difficult question to answer; if you don't do any research you will never know the value! It looks like a nice Russian collection as far as I can tell. It is too small to really tell much, but to a collector almost any collection has value. But not necessarily to retire on!
Looks like a typical country packet assortment. Dealers offer them... A typical deal here in Canada is 500 all-different Russian stamps for $25. I've been working on my Russia collection of late, and know (as Peter suggests above) there is ton of fascinating stuff here, if you want to do some digging into the background of each of the stamps. But value-wise, it likely won't command very much.
