German Ischtar Stamp In 3 Types?

Hi everyone!
Last month I was working on my kilowarecollection.. almost fulltime.
The floor in my stamproom is covered with stamps!
Thats normal. While sorting I trow away damaged stamps.


And ofcourse I did many findings.
I bought 8 kilo Germany.
In this kiloware were many Nofretete ( thats german language)
They are so beautiful! ! Real eyecatchers.
The high value of the set is the Ischtar stamp.
Very beautiful too!
The Ischtar stamp is made in 2 types perforation.
Michel nr 2976 and nr 3002.

I found 6 stamps in a different color.
Not so spectacular but the blue color is blue instead of royalblue (?).
The gate in the middle is more yellow than normal.
Is it a 3rd type or maybe a missing (red) color?
Anyone seen this already?
I found 6 between 200 Ischtarstamps.
A bit much for a missing color in my opinion.

I tried to place pictures in the past. But I am not so in ict things.
So sorry I have no pictures.

Edit: royal blue is peacockblue.
And its about the Michel 3002.

Here is a scan of the Ischtar stamp. Hopefully you'll be able to post a scan of the specific stamp you are referring to, so we can see the difference.

If someone has this stamp in quantities,( maybe a german member? )
Please look at the center of the stamp, the color of the wall is yellowish but with some red in it not much..lets say skincolor.
On the six stamps the color is more yellow I would say sandcolor.

The blue is peacockblue on the above stamp.
Peacockblue is blue with a little red in it.
On my stamps its blue, in german hellblau.

The 6 stamps have all the same colors. It could be a third type.
So I hope someone else knows more about this stamp or has the stamp in quantities.
For now I think its a missing red color or missing a part of the red color if that is possible?
But then is it possible to have six of them with the same quantity missing color?

By the way its not spectacular it is just a bit different and I found the stamps not immediately. After 150 stamps I found the first one. Then I looked again and found in the 150 4 others. The next fifty stamps gave 1 extra is total 6 stamps with the different color.

I have some more info:

1 stamp has a postmark 291214, dec. 29, 2014.
1 stamp has a postmark 27 -1 14 briefzentrum ?? ( unknown / unreadable).
2 stamps are on 1piece and has cds 10 -2 15 (postoffice 1583).
2x 1 stamp have no date.

I have 95 copies of this stamp from Kiloware. I just looked through them all and didn't see any color differences in those - at least none that jumped out at me.

So 95 stamps all the same color.
I think that my 6 stamps are no errors but a coincidence
It is possible that the stamps came from 1 sheet.
The kiloware came maybe from one office Or company.

On the other way different is different.

Maybe someone has an opinion about the situation?

The strange thing is that not all colors are different.
Only the blue and yellow is different.
At this moment my conclusion.is that in the printing proces the red color was not enough used. So a little difference. Not spectacular but good to see with the naked eye.
No extra catalogue number!

The only theory I have to offer is that perhaps those six stamps are changelings of some sort? If they were left exposed to direct sunlight for a period of time, perhaps that could have caused a color change. There are other things that could happen, post-printing, that could potentially cause colors to change as well. If it is indeed a printing variety, it could well be where there were just a small amount that won't turn up with frequency in kiloware.

If you can post scans or at least photos, that would probably help a great deal in determining what you have.

What are your first 2 types????? You mention something about perforations but I guess you were referring to self-adhesives with a slit-perforation vs lickable gummed and comb perforated.

So where do your 6 copies fit in????

Sunlight may have damaged the colours but more likely in the case of multicolour printing is that the slightest shift of colour may change a predominantly "brown" one into a :green" looking stamp....

A little bit late, but I can show now the different stamps and the 2 shades I found:

On the right side, that's the normal colors.

Another 2, the right one has the normal colors.

By the way, these are self adhesive stamps with the slit perforation.

So the blue color is lighter on the left stamp and the brown/beige color around the dooropening is different too.

And a picture made in daylight, and I found out that I can upload a bigger size picture.

I have six of the 'wrong color' stamps , in my opinion it can't be coincedence (!/?).
