It is interesting to see fakes and forgeries by those who have very little, or no knowledge of what they are doing. The vast majority are not "Speratis".

Here is a partial sheet of a reprint of Denmark's "2 Rigsbank-Skilling" (Facit #1), plate #2. These, Denmark "Fire R.B.S." (Facit #2), and early Danish West Indies perforated issues were reprinted for the Hafnia '76 stamp show. The "perforated" D.W.I. reprints have embossings/simulated perforations only. Second scan shows printing on reverse.

I found this album sheet in a box lot rears ago. I like the original owners handmade album page with some stylish calligraphy... haven't studied it very much but appears to have some common forgeries from the past.

Here is a forgery of Finland's 10 kopek stamp of March 3, 1856 (Facit #2). Is it a Fournier, or a forgery of a Fournier?
