Hello all
wonder if anyone can help us with this Twopenny post Receiving House mark – it is on a letter dated 20th April 1842 addressed to A Holmsted Esq of 40 Bedford Row and written by a Jas. Birch.

As you can see from the first image it is very faint, but by 'tweaking' the image to make it much darker, we still cannot identify it from the listing in Brumell's book.
The contents of the letter are not historically or genealogically important, but the postmark is part of our London collection.

Any help appreciated.
Regards
Eunice and Ron

Many thanks for that Scotzm, your eyesight is obviously better than ours.
The best I could see was REN in the middle but it turns out to be ROA!
Really appreciate you taking the trouble and good to know you have been on the website.
Mind you, the one on the site was red and framed and easier to identify (or did we miss another one)
If so, we blame age and STML.

Thanks again and regards
Eunice and Ron.
