Can anyone here figure out why I'm so happy to get this stamp?

This is a beautiful stamp indeed. I think we can see a faint mark on the bottom left (below the left 5) that may be the cancellation indicated by the certificate. The VGG foundation is world class expertizing body, so that is a smart move that adds value to your stamp, from my point of view.

Yes, beautiful stamp. The Perf 12 should measure 12.1 all around. I do see the cancel in the C of CANADA and below the C to the left. Collectors still won't believe it is the Perf 12 unless you have the certificate.

I do have one but not scanned. I'll try to scan on the weekend.
