A couple guys from here sent me stamps to sstart a collection for my son's, and I wanted to say thank you so much. They enjoy looking at them.
I have to say this site is one of the best I've been on, and it's members some of the greatest people.
Thank you all again! It means the world to me.

I agree that this is my favorite place to go for philately online. If you email me your address, I'll be happy to send you some stamps for your sons as well. I've got more duplicates than I can shake a stick at. Seriously, I once took a stick and started shaking it at all my stamps and my arm got tired before I could finish! Maybe if I started working out and lifting weights, I could finish the job, or maybe I just need a different shaking stick Either way, you'd be doing me a favor by helping reduce the pile.

Lol I was the same way with sports cards. Gave a lot away. Had to make room. Still have a lot though. Another thing I like about stamps, they take up less room.

Well, they are smaller than a sport card, but the albums to house them take some space. Then there's the philatelic library that soon begins to grow...

Thank you, TheArtfulHinger.
Littleriverphil, sports cards also have huge albums, and boxes, and all the plastic protectors. And it's own library itself with all the guides. But I see what you mean. Scott's has thicker guides than Beckett (sports cards)except their annual edition. But those are broken up by sport.
