As a collector of Russian space stamps, I want to find out biographical information about the following designers- Yuri Levinovsky, Andrey Sokolov, Anatoly Aksamit and German Komlev. These designers designed many of Russia's space stamps. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Good topic, John. I'm moving it to Main because not everyone sees the "general" forum. --Kirk

Johnmacco007 - To find out info on Russian postage stamp designers with no links in English, the best advice is to transliterate their names into the Russian alphabet.

The following links are available in Russian:

Yuri Levinovsky
https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9...%D0%B8%D1%87
Andrey Sokolov
https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A...D0%B8%D0%BA)
Anatoly Aksamit
No biographical information on him available except for "designer of postcards, postage stamps, and illustrated postal stationery envelopes". The link is:

German Komlev
http://starina44.ru/komlev

Just use Google translator.

Regards,

Florian
