156 And 167 Identification, Whats The Differences ?

Hi,me again,I know this is a stupid question for you guys but I'm here trying to learn.

What is the difference between a 156 and a 167 stamp ? As far as I can see on the internet the 156 has gum and the 167 doesn't,that's all I can find about the ID,there must be more than that.

Huffy, do you have a Scott specialized? Scott 167 was a special printing, indeed issued without gum. The paper, according to the catalog is white on the special printing, yellowish on 156.

I have to order a new one,I had it with the newspapers and it went out with the recycled box last month LOL.I haven't needed it till now.

What country are you talking about? 156 and 167 doesn't mean much to a lot of people (including me).

USA,1 cent,the 156 regular printing and the 167 Special printing.
