In case anyone wants to travel and see fall colors (and stamps too)

I'm running the Metropex stamp show this year from October 16-17 in Roseville Minnesota, there's always some good stuff to be found. I hope to have 15 dealers at it and still have slots open if any dealers want to join in. The only retail stamp store in Minnesota is just 5 minutes from the show too. The stamp pool will be back with about 20 pounds of stamps to sift through for a nickel each.

Don't know about Roseville, but METROPLEX is the USPS cancellation used in the Detroit, Michigan area.

METROPLEX... I always wondered where that was! We used to have cancellations at Metropex, but not for a few years now.

I placed the show info on the stamp club Facebook page.

I have to say it's been an interesting experience being a show organizer. I have 6 dealers signed up so far with a goal of 15. If anyone knows of a dealer I might have missed and wishes to be part of the show let me know! One table for two days is $165, two tables is $275 and three tables are $375. Something I don't know is how do these table prices compare to other shows of this size.

We have 11 dealers at the moment and there are some special features too including club tables and a couple thousand covers for a dollar each. There will also be a special fundraiser table for the Boy Scouts too and of course there will be the stamp pool with 20 pounds of stamps on paper for 5 cents each and twenty pounds of US stamps off paper for 5 cents each. I will be there at the front table both days.. Here's a sample of the covers, there's some interesting ones.
