Why is King Edward turned on his head? Perhaps to straighten out a watermark? Looks like a parcel cancel maybe?

It is a double oval mute cancel with a smudge - no way to date and know if not a favor cancel - there would be no advantage to canceling it... especially like this! I wouldn't buy it as a single stamp, but would assign a value to it if buying in a larger lot, albeit small.

I always thought that "Fancy Cancel" was a dealer term so that they could charge more for a stamp, kinda like when a used car salesman tells you that the 20 year old junker with 300,000 miles on it has low miles for its age.
