I've found at ebay Germany a stamp. Item number 252082983395

Now my question: real or counterfeit ? ? ?
It is Mei Lan Fang souvenir sheet China 1962
from artesano-1a
1. he has never sold a stamp before
2. his account is older than 10 years
3. for me it look authentic but you would start with one dollar this auction ? Value more like $ 5,000
4. no limit, no reserve ???

I should go for it ?

If it is too good to be true, it is.

Just say no.

He's claiming it's original. He'll only ship to Germany. It's a guessing game if it's real or not, but personally I would only buy high value stamps with a certificate.

How much would you be willing to pay for a forgery? There's your final bid.

No Paypal? Be prepared that if you get scammed, kiss your money goodbye. The picture could be taken from anywhere on the web. The item will sell for close to $3,000-$4,000 - why not buy from a legitimate stamp dealer?

Well, I guess we will never know if real or fake: "This listing (252082983395) has been removed, or this item is not available."

The listing is still there (click on the link I provided above). For some reason, if you search for a German listing on ebay.com you get the "not available' message.

you have to go to ebay in germany first, I dont see why anyone would spend as much as those go for on a sheet, for that kinda money I want more like a collection that would fill a room up
