Okay folks, unless I find something that knocks my socks off today, I'm done asking for stuff.

Again, thank you all.

I found this and did a search on the forum and only came up with really fancy cancels.

What kind of value does an anchor add to a stamp?

Heidivee, welcome to the forum! I do not quite understand your first sentence, but do get the question about the anchor. I think it is a fairly modern cancellation, which most likely does not do a thing for the value of the stamp. Now, if the whole cover was saved, that cancel (or cover) might have been worth something!
OK, I answered at the same time as the cover above. Anyway, now you see what I meant!

I had been posting questions like crazy and have nothing to contribute myself. This site is fantastic and I feel bad for all the questions. I guess I'll make a donation. Seems like the right thing to do.

Questions = Enlightenment.

If no one asked any questions, one would never learn a thing.

For example I just learned that this Slogan Cancel for the French Navy existed.

Being a US Navy veteran I greatly enjoy seeking out Naval related philatelic items.

Regards,
