I purchased a WW collection from a nearby gentleman and I am now in the process of sorting and grading. I've run across three stamps whose issuing countries I cannot identify with the information available to me. Any help you can provide will be very much appreciated.

Terry

All 3 are from China.

The first one is a revenue stamp, the others are postage.

Hi Terry,

They are all postage stamps from China but from different governments and administrations:

The top one is from the East China People's Post in 1949.

The middle one is from the People's Republic of China in 1955.

The bottom one is from the Republic of China (Taiwan) in 1964.

My apologies tlmcca, nigelc is 100% correct, I confused the 1st stamp for the 1949 Flag & Globe Revenue Stamp of China.

Stampalotapus: No problem. Your answer would have gotten me to the right place in Scott's which is enough.

nigelc: Thanks for the detailed info which saves me a good deal of time in the catalog.
