We all come across stamps that are half-off a cover or card.
Sometimes there was obvious exposure to water or water vapor; other times it looks like somebody just did not lick the whole stamp.
Usually, there is enough WAG left so that a little water does the trick. (Thaa would be dabbing with a sterile no-lint swab moistened with distilled water .. I'm not one of those heathens that would finger a dab of spittle onto the back of one of our little treasures!)
It occurs to me that a drop of Varathane would not only re-affix the stamp, but also protect it from all sorts of further damage ... sadly, that whole class of truly durable solutions seems to be out-of-fashion.
Q/ When there is not sufficient WAG remaining - and when no one is looking or, for that matter, expected to look - which supplementary adhesive do you prefer?
