I found these in someone's stamp junk box. There are two half-pennies, one with an interesting cancel. How do you tell if there's a cross in the crown? Those looked valuable. Then there are a bunch of other ones I couldn't ID the year of.

Can you please help me by pointing out some of the better ones and telling me about them?

I have a big stamp book that I'm keeping, but since these loose I was thinking of selling them. Are these worth selling?

You found them in an appropriate place. No cash value. NH means the stamps are brand new with the gum still perfectly intact - no cancels.

I've seen plenty cancelled stamps with value. It's just hard to identify which ones have some.

You have stamps of interest but of little monetary value. Your stamps range from Queen Victoria to George 6
From left to right in rows...
Edward 7, George 5 (perfin... that means holes were punched for company ID), Queen Victoria.
George 5, George 5 , George 5, Edward 7
Edward 7, George 5, George 6, Edward 7
George 5, George 5, George 6, George 6

All are very common... all are interesting but worth only a few pennies each.

No cross on crown...
Left side is normal... right side is no cross variety.

Be aware that poorly centered stamps will have the cross on crown cut off by the perforations. The no cross on crown variety is a result of the printing process. Poorly centered stamps with cross cut off by perforations are not the real deal.

Can you tell me more about the cancel that looks like the back half of a dog?

Back end of a dog has been answered in another place you posted. It's a lion and part of an exhibition cancellation.
