Flyspecking The Admiral Issue

I have been flyspecking this bunch of Canada and Newfoundland stamps and came upon this 10c Brown Admiral. There are two blob marks in the left margin and then there is a larger mark between the Admiral's beard and the leaf. Now this looks like someone spille d abit of coffee on the stamp but that shouldn't mark the ink like this. And the mark appears to be under the postmark ink.

What kind of error is this? Anyone have a name for this one ? How about "The Smoking Admiral"

Also jimjung, I noticed the right number "ONE" is thicker than the left number "ONE" on your stamp...As far a the two blobs, I am trying to figure out what would cause the and since I was a printer back in the sixties ad early seventies, I am trying to remember if I ever came across a border oddity.

Benn trying to figure this one out with a couple of collectors and it's a tough one. There are definitely differences in the engraved lines on the lower part of the beard when compared to a normal stamp. Here are closeups of the affected area with a scan of a normal 10c Brown Admiral.
