For those of you who like well designed stamps I highly recommend the following book: David Scott, European Stamp Design. London: Academy Editions, 1995.

Hi KGB. To answer your question, no, but then I haven't really looked. It would be interesting to research if he designed stamps for any other countries.

My answer is yes as well, especially for the new USPS issues. There are so many of them to collect, I usually just purchase sheets of the ones with "eye appeal". My only collecting area is US, so I would say that all the early Scott numbers are works of art. Some beautiful engravings. I have shifted to revenues for the last few years and find them all attractive. In addition,I find stamp collecting in general to be very addictive. I involve my children as well, so they will be knowledgeable of our collection and pass it on to their kids.
