A friend in Kansas City has inherited a collection and wants to dispose of it. I've not seen it and she knows nothing about stamps so I can't give her any sort of legitimate advice other than to take it to someone for appraisal. I checked the APS site for nearby dealers and found three:

Kirk H. Doan of Ozark Philatelics & Collectibles
Dale E. Smith of Stamp Smith
James C. Young of Target Auctions

I can forward those three to my friend but thought it would be good to see if anyone in the family here has someone they think would be an especially good choice.

Terry, in a case like this I prefer to look for a local stamp club and put a person in touch with someone in that club. They would usually know someone in their area!
