I just put together all the locals I had.
I assume by seeing the print, that most (if not all) of them are forgeries . So any info would be appreciated.
If you would like a better scan of an individual stamp, let me know.

I dont know about any particliar stamp but there used to be alot of local companies because in the early post office there was no rural delivery ( at least not for free) so if you lived in the sticks and couldnt get to the Post Office

The local posts generally operated in cities, not rural areas, and before free city delivery - RFD service was much later.

Based on a quick review, the stamps all appear to be fakes, reprints, or genuine stamps of nominal value. I'm not sure what the first stamp on the second row is. The last stamp on the second row is a college stamp - I think B&S is Bryant & Stratton - and is a better item.

It's hard just looking at scans, but the top row 1,2 & 4 look real, 3rd row the middle one looks OK and the bottom row the first two look good. The collectors of carriers & locals are very specialized. The web page for the Carriers & Locals Society can give much more information.
