Alternatives To Turbo Lister

I have a number of items for sale on ebay and use Turbo Lister mainly because it's free. I don't have a store and have no plans in that direction. I only have about 200 items listed at any one time with ebay's promo offers and all but have another 800+ in inventory and growing. Needless to say Turbo Lister is kind of glacial when it comes to performing certain tasks. Is there anything else free that works better? Or am I looking only at programs that would cost? And if I do spend money, what's at the low end? Or is my only choice at that point to go with a store? Any advice would be appreciated.

Turbo lister is only good when you sell the same thing over and over, I loved it when I was in coins and sold proof coins using stock pictures, for stamps its not much help at all. If you have 200 items you might want to consider a basic store it just went up to 200 free listings a month fixed price.

I don't know if the Selling Manager Pro that comes with a store subscription would be any better to create listings, but others like to use a third-party program called SixBit. The first month is free, but afterwards there's a monthly fee. I don't think it's much, but some on here and elsewhere swear by that program.

I still use TurboLister and I feel your pain it as it can drag on some functions especially in page view. I still can have 1,000 to 6,000 listings and still manage to use it. I almost create the complete listing in the spreadsheet view - that's quick. The description is the only part I cannot add in the spreadsheet view, but has to be done in page view. TL drags when you switch from listing to listing to the point you have to change back to spreadsheet view and back into page view to speed things back up. Also I write my descriptions in a wood processing program and copy and paste them over to TL. That helps to speed things up have more control creating the descriptions and I can create templates in a snap complete with embedded html picture links.

Some people also use Excel to create their listings and import it into TL. That can be very tricky as if some little thing is wrong TL will deny the importation and won't tell you what's wrong.

I make do with TurboLister. I'm sure SixBit would be an improvement, but another $20-35 per month on top of the $50 per month for my ebay Store subscription is just too much. It doesn't sound like much, but it's "death by a thousand cuts".

I've become accustomed to TL's idiosyncrasies, and for my purposes there aren't any dealbreakers.

I don't think I could do ebay without Sixbits.

Thanks everyone for the input. I'm trying to keep this low budget right now, so it looks like I'll keep soldiering on with Turbo Lister and keep my fingers crossed that ebay keeps having promo offers every month.
