Good day to everyone. I purchased a small collection of postal cards including envelopes in used and unused conditions from mid 1800s - 1920's. These specific postal cards,Many in the collection have cards with the Former US Presidents on them: Jefferson, Grant, Adams, Mckinley, Lincoln, ect in used and unused condition. Since I have a nice collection of Lincoln Memorabilia,I decided to purchase the small collection for a very limited price.
I was interested in these two since they have French translations on both of them in unused conditions.I believe they are earlier periods of them around turn of the century with Lady Liberty.
On the front cover expresses the following:
1) Postal card with paid reply.Carte Postal avec Response Payee.
( Universal Postale Universelle) United States of America (Etats-Unis d'Amerique) write only on this side. bottom left corner expressed detach annex card for answer. front and back are blank.
2)Reply Postal Card. Carte Postale Response- Universal Postal Union (Union Postale Universelle United States of America (Etats-Unis d'Amerique) write only the address on this side. Blank on back. Both are in good/fine condition as unused cards.
Can someone please provide information about these two reply cards? It expresses detach annex card for answer on one of the cards. Is this both the set for these cards? What are the Scott number for both of these including is the market demand with collectors for them at this time? Where these made for other countries with different translations on them?
I look forward to reading your comments. Thank you in advance
