I apologize for wasting the time of the Brazil experts here but try as I might I can not identify the following stamps:

The first two appear to be a pair and they basically show an individual on a throne surrounded by an archway with REPUBLICA at the top and under that "do Brazil" and on the sides of rhe archway "imposto" on the left and "do sell" on the right. I gave 2 values--10 Reis in red on a blue stamp and 20 Reis in red on light green stamp. The stamp has a vertical orientation. I would think we are in the pre 1930 date,

The other is horizontal in orientation, orange, with rhe upper portion showing blank orange fielsd , a goddess in the left lower corner surrounded by a ring of stars, the value, 100 Reis also in orange in the lower right and between them " the sourd nationale", and below this "brazil" on a diagonal.

Believe me, I wish I knew how to upload images of these items because it would make it a heck of a lot easier for all of us but at age 65 and no formal computer training "cut and paste" and the like is something you do with Elmers glue. Anyway I would appreciate any help you folks can provide.

Funcitypapa, being a couple of years older than you I know where you are coming from. If I have a problem with my computer I have to ask a 4th-grader!
Have you tried the website www.stampworld.com ? They show virtually every stamp ever issued and show plenty of pictures.

Can you give any more help with what appears on the stamps? I'm pretty familiar with Brazilian stamps and right now I'm stumped. I'm anxious to help!

There is nothing else on the stamps than what is described. I couldn't find anything remotely similar to them in Scotts

You won't find them in Scott because they are probably all revenue stamps. Most postage stamps of that era will be inscribed "CORREIO". So if that inscription (or comparable inscription) is absent, it is likely not a normal postage stamp.

Your first pair are receipt revenues issued in 1893. In the Forbin catalog, they are in the #3 and #4 in the Thesouro section of Brazil.

Imposto = Tax, Revenue
Thesouro Nacional = National Treasury

I think you have fiscal stamps

This is from 1912 :
